The Guild of Fine Food is a British organisation that is passionate about artisan food and drink. Since 1988, it has supported small and independent producers and brought exceptional products into the limelight. With the annual World Cheese Awards, the Guild organises one of the world’s most prestigious cheese competitions. Thousands of varieties from all over the world are brought together here to be assessed by experts and cheese lovers – a real highlight for the industry, for cheese fans and for gourmets worldwide.
Switzerland Cheese Marketing (SCM) is the official Swiss partner of the Guild of Fine Food. For the World Cheese Awards 2025 in Bern, the SCM is pursuing the vision of bringing Bern – the Capital of Cheese – to life. With a Swiss Fine Food Market and various events and experiences centred around cheeses from Switzerland, the enthusiasm for cheese will be visible everywhere you look in and around Bern.
